Cristina Carvalho, Arent Fox’s Managing Partner, is one of the few women of color who have taken the lead at a major U.S. law firm. Born and educated in Brazil and fluent in three languages, Cristina brings a diversity of culture and experience to her role. Named as one of Latin America’s Top 100 lawyers by Latinvex in 2016, Cristina’s has a vast and impressive clientele in both North and South America. Cristina will share her personal story and inspire us all to reach for the stars.

Fluent in Portuguese and admitted to practice law in the US and Brazil, Cristina advises clients so they can navigate different legal systems and cultures to realize opportunities in mature and emerging markets.
