LLBA Bar Stipend Application 2026:
Application Window: March 3, 2026 – April 3, 2026
The Latina Lawyers Bar Association is pleased to present its Bar Stipend Application. The scholarship program will award bar stipends to outstanding law students. The bar stipend funds should be used towards the expenses related to preparation for the California Bar Examination.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. Must be a California resident/domiciled in California and current applicant for the California State Bar.
2. Demonstrated community service
3. Demonstrated overall commitment to the Latina community
4. Demonstrated desire and commitment to be a leader in the legal profession
5. Financial need
A completed application form and all required attachments must be submitted through this form by April 3,2026. Bar Stipend finalists will be contacted to set up interviews in mid April. Interviews will be held at the end of April. A committee composed of Latina Lawyers Bar Association Board Members and Scholarship Committee Members will select the award recipients. Bar stipends will be issued in June.
Bar stipend recipients will be presented at the Latina Lawyers Bar Association Annual Awards and Scholarship Dinner in the Fall of 2026, and if selected, your attendance will be expected at the in-person dinner. Please note that Latina Lawyers Bar Association Board Members and their family members are not eligible for this bar stipend award.
